Well it's that time of year again...the eve of a new year... a period for reflection, for closure, for celebration, for hope. The duality of looking back and looking forward can be a little unsettling and emotional. I find myself in a pensive mood today. I've been sitting quietly with my computer thinking about what I want to leave with you in my last post for 2011. I took a little time to see how some of my favourite bloggers were feeling... Holly Becker from Decor8 suggests listing accomplishments rather than making resolutions as a new ritual to try and I really like her idea.
"Rather than think about what you didn’t accomplish in 2011, make a list of all that you managed to do this year that you are proud of." - Holly
I would like to highlight one personal accomplishment in particular and that is the fact that I launched a blog that expresses me! For that, I am truly happy. I am also very thankful for the support and positive feedback that I have been getting from my readers, Facebook fans and Twitter followers. I would like to take this time to wish you all the very best for the New Year.

Let us remember all those that are suffering around the world. Let us pray for an end to the terrible wars that are being fought and for the greed and prejudice that caused them in the first place. Let us pray that our leaders will be moved to handle these harsh economic circumstances in the most positive way possible.
One Love, Peace & Unity for 2012!
